Johan F. Kennedy international airport is situated very close to New York City as compared to LaGuardia airport and New York Liberty airport of NYC. It is situated in the Queen of Boughs which is 12 miles from the Lower Manhattan (the New York City). There are many places to visit near this airport. Located in the Queens this airport is also surrounded by a couple of very attractive places i.e. Belmont Park race track and a Casino. The stadium was named after world famous Afro-American player Arthur Ashe who won the very first US open tennis tournament in 1968.

Brooklyn is another fascinating place which is not very far away from JFK international airport. The New York Botanical Garden is also located in Brooklyn. This botanical garden is spread over 250 acres of the Bronx. This botanical garden is the premier botanical garden of the USA. This botanical garden has fifty different gardens and it possesses the largest collection of different species of plant in USA. The botanical garden enables you to see the beauty of plants and if you are interested to see water species then the New York Aquarium is also present in Brooklyn.
